I found a rusty manhole cover that was locked secure. The colour of the rust and the rocks and the strands of grass poking aroung the edges caught my eye.

It rained last night and there was puddles on top of the resevoir and the sun and the treetops were reflecting in them.

There was an anonymous cyclist overlooking the view towards Cadboro Bay-didn't see the Cadborosaurus (our local sea monster) today. It was so bright out today, plus the blues of the sky and the water, I probably could have used a filter on this one but I didn't. Hopefully the cyclist doesn't mind getting posted...

This is an "oops" shot that I kind of like. I had the big lens on with the wide angle lens, zoomed out all the way, and I went to take a horizon shot, not realizing that I was still set on macro. The edges came out all blurry and squished in but I think it looks rather unique and I like how it came out.
