My Walk in the Cold with Pete

This is Pete. He's one of the guys that I work with at my job. Today, even though it was cold and windy out, Pete decided that he wanted to go out for a walk with me. He had a hat, gloves and a winter coat. I had none of those things but how could I say "No" to that smile? The only thing that I did have with me today was my camera so I took that with us.

Pete decided that he wanted to stop at the park and practice his Tae-Kwon -D0. Pete loves to practice and attend classes and so far has earned one belt-his yellow!
Moss, tree bark, little skinny branch, white berries and tiny leaves.
The lone red leaf.

Looking up a tree. Pete thought that it was hilarious when I tried to get this shot-he kept laughing at me (of course afterwards I found out it was because I was standing in a mud puddle!).Some dark pink berries on a bush. Pete spotted these and asked me to take a picture of them for him.
And of course it wouldn't be Victoria without finding some flowers somewhere!

I really like the first pic of Pete; I find it difficult to photograph people (when they're not posing) and you really captured how happy he was there. I'm also incredibly jealous that you still have flowers blooming!
