John Lennon's 1965 Rolls Royce
On Sunday Chris and I went to an Imax movie at the Royal BC Museum and when we walked into the museum we were greated with this vehicle. Now if it isn't the most colourful-and most difficult-car to photograph I can't imagine what is. So when I saw it I had to take photos of it in hopes of getting "the" shot for the photo contest this week. While I may not be the biggest Beatles fan (please don't hate me for being honest), I thought that there are probably a few fans who might like seeing these photos -even if the shots aren't the best. I feel like I've failed you :( Unfortunately things don't always go according to plan...This was the shot I was hoping to use for my entry. I was almost crawling on the wet marble floor, crawling and poking my head under the velvet rope when I felt a tap on my shoulder. There was a nice security guard asking me to kindly get behind the rope. I got one shot off. Unfortunately there was too much glare on the door to make me completely happy.
This is the other door-with me safely behind the rope-but again too much glare (damn their waxing job) and the angle just wasn't right.
A slightly fuller back view. Unfortunately the back was a bit chomped off so I just wasn't happy with this one either. We had to run off for our movies and afterwards there were too many people around it to try shooting again so I had to hope that I had one that would work-which is the one I've posted on the contest site.

oooo very cool. I love cars that are painted all fun like that. It sucks that the security guard wasn't cool enough to keep letting you shoot. I hate when you can't get the angle you want from where you are able to go
I agree, the angle often makes the shot! I still think they're great photos and I love the colour. Imagine driving around in that?!?!? :)
