A Break from the Rain

It actually stopped raining today! Amazing I know! And most amazingly, at times, you could actually see the sun through the clouds! Although the seagulls were not as nice here today as they were yesterday. I guess I just didn't duck fast enough... :( Catching a bit of waves crashing against the rocks.

Proof-sunshine!

I thought this was an interesting contrast of things that float. Seagulls, a single person in a small boat that didn't look much bigger than a rowboat, a smaller power boat, and a cargo ship.

A kite that was caught in a light post.

The Clipper-the ferry that goes between downtown Victoria and Seattle. I thought the spray that it was kicking up looked interesting from the shore.
