Lamp

We were at a friends' home tonight for a Christmas get-together. In the corner of their family room they have this floor lamp that flickers and casts this changing glow on the wall giving the appearance that the lamp has a burning flame on the top. I tried to capture this. Not quite as successfully as I had hoped.

I'll have a few more crazy pictures-thanks to Chris-from the party tomorrow.

Ceiling Light

This evening while watching TV I looked up and noticed that our ceiling lamp was still on. A bit unusual because we normally don't use it at all. And then I notices the way the light and shadows played on each of the little pieces that make up the shade.
